Daffodil, the common English name for all narcissus plants, is a perennial grown from a bulb. The daffodil is a dependable spring flower and a favorite for its long life, colorful blooms and sweet fragrance. As the daffodil is one of the first flowers of spring it has come to symbolize hope.

Flower Fact

Daffodils and narcissi have sap that is toxic to other flowers. Display separately or leave in water for at least 12 hours before mixing with other flowers and when possible in your arrangement do not re-cut the stems.
